Thank you for playing. Did you try examining and using the objects, e.g. using the bed to fall asleep? Then you can do something about insomnia (try to talk to Ana). The game is mostly about the dreams/nightmares that you will have while sleeping. Feel free to ask me if you are stuck. Once again, thank you for valueable feedback.
What you wrote about the hyperdrive is strange (I double checked and everything works correctly); if you try to hack the hyperdrive after you walked through the first nightmare successfully you should get the message: "You don't understand much about hyperdrive settings. Something needs to be done about it." Then you have to do one more thing to hack the hyperdrive.
You probably got the bad ending where you die from hypoxia; there are a few endings in the game, the best one is where you return to Earth.
